MADLAB Design is an independent creative and marketing agency in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Since 2004 we've done branding, websites, video, print, and photography for a broad array of clients in a lot of industries — restaurants and biotech labs, banks and ski mountains, compost haulers and coffee roasters.
The idea
Big agencies are great at meetings. We're great at the work.
MADLAB was started on a simple premise: you should be able to get agency-quality creative without paying for the agency — the account layer, the office, the hand-offs. So there isn't one. You talk to the person doing the work, the work gets done, and it costs what it should.

Dan started MADLAB in 2004 after coming up on the agency side at Connelly Partners, MicroArts, Sir Isaac, and Verve. He's also sat on the client side of the table — VP of Marketing at ACTEX Learning, Digital Creative Director at Embrace Home Loans, and Marketing Director for a 24-location education group and two Vermont ski resorts — which is why MADLAB scopes work the way a client wishes agencies would.
He's a Google Partner (Analytics and Ads) and a Shopify Partner, and some clients have been with him for the better part of twenty years.
